Award Winning Sustainability Report

Double success for Bidfood and Clarity

The Planet Mark, the internationally recognised and trusted sustainability certification programme, celebrated its five-year anniversary on Thursday 11th October with an awards ceremony to recognise the great impact made by those companies which have achieved Planet Mark status. Woburn based integrated marketing and branding agency, Clarity, was there to celebrate that success with client Bidfood which was shortlisted for three awards.

 

As lead agency for the brand’s sustainability programme, Clarity was instrumental in developing the strategy and assets for each of Bidfood’s entries into the awards and was delighted that the company was the winner of the Annual Sustainability Report Award and the Community Engagement Award.  Bidfood was also highly commended for its work in Supply Chain Engagement.

 

Dawn Elmore, Clarity’s Account Director, comments, “We have been working with Bidfood on their sustainability reporting for the past six years and are thrilled that The Planet Mark has recognised the quality of their reporting. We have instigated many innovations to make the report interesting and engaging. Every year we introduce new elements to keep the report fresh and informative.”

 

Clarity was also instrumental in setting up plate2planet which was highly commended within the Supply Chain Engagement category.  This initiative is an open forum for any foodservice sector organisation wanting to find out more about bringing sustainability into practice and offers practical resources such as templates, guides and case studies. It has been instrumental in driving engagement with Bidfood’s stakeholders and providing a space for the sharing of best practice.
